In celebration of the holiday season, we are proud to support the DuPage County Marine Toys for Tots program. Their mission is to collect new, unwrapped toy donations, as well as monetary donations to purchase new toys, and distribute them to children in need through the help of local area nonprofit social service agencies.
The success of our collection depends on the generosity of our community! Without your support, our area children might not know the real joy of the holiday season. Will you help us by donating a new toy?
Drop off a toy the next time you dine.
We are proud to serve as an official drop-off site. We will have Toys for Tots Foundation boxes at the restaurant to collect toys. We invite you to drop off a new, unwrapped toy between now and December 13, 2023, during our normal business hours.

The history of Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots began in 1947 as the brain child of Marine Corps Reserve Major Bill Hendricks. Actually it was his wife, Diane, who was the real inspiration. She had a few handcrafted dolls and asked Bill to deliver them to an agency that supports children in need.
When Bill reported back to his wife that he could not find such an organization, she instructed him to “start one!”. Maj Hendricks and the Marines in his reserve unit in LA collected and distributed 5,000 toys in 1947.
Seeing such successful community engagement in 1947, the Commandant directed all Marine Reserve Sites to implement a Toys for Tots campaign transforming it into a national community action program in 1948.
Fast forward to today… the Marine Toys for Tots Program distributes an average of 18 million toys to 7 million less fortunate children annually.
